It's really a good thread. I bought 1762 and flame thrower 40511 for a friend and got it shipped to Saudi Arabia. I just realized that we need to machine the flange on the distributor.Quote:

Also, my kit came with the flamethrower 3 ohm coil and it says I should remove the resistor if the car has one. What does this resistor look like and where do I find it?
Yep I reckon it's been siliconed on to help stop water ingress.
Here is a pic of the parts removed.
The resistor is near (under) your coil. It's a ceramic rectangle shape. Remove it and join the wires together.http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...013/01/140.jpg
