Got bored a while back so decided to make a fry pan from a plough disc,
welded up the centre hole welded on a handle then took it to be sand blasted.
Worked a treat cooking an egg and should be great for stir fries as well

Clever.. I am going to have to learn to weld.

It's weld alright , tank must be aluminium , from what I can tell it looks like Tig welding and I can tell you looks like two or three packs of filler wire and maybe pack and a half of either Zirconiated or Ceriated tungsten electrodes and god knows how much Argon gas .
Trying to weld something that's aluminium and been in contact with petroleum or grease is even something I wouldn't attempt , certainly not with a Tig anyway .
I put me glasses on and had a good look , not Tig but Mig and looks like two different people had a go , bit towards the front looks fairly neat for a bit then turns to shit , especially where they burnt a hole in it .
Made this a while ago have even made them with a shelf for smokes lol
All you need is 1mtr of rod preferably 12mm ,,, 2 x horse shoes and one sleeper
spike. Just hammer it near your chair at camp and away you go..lol
There it is a "rustic Stubby holder"
Who cares about neatness as long as it holds she will be right mate :)
First batch of rocket fuel thru second to go , got around 1.4-1.5 litres of 60 proof , which after flavourings ( bourbon) and required water top up will give two litres of bourbon if my sums are right .
