Is it for the step? Assume so - why not get the non-slip paint?? Should be able to get it in the colour you want, and can always pretty it up if needed?

Furry muff mate ... that non-slip gear is pretty good - a bit expensive, but will probably outlast stick on stuff .. especially with weathering etc ...

Well this is basically it, im gunna add the final finishing touches tomorrow, good learning exersize in pipe work will be doing sliders next i rekon
