Birds behaved well if it was HDR :) - I shoot RAW so pretty much everything is Tone Mapped in some form importing them. From memory just highlights down and shadows up. The sky was that colour due to fires :). Only filter was the UV filter I use to protect the actual lens glass. Do have CPL filters as well, but not on this one.

You got great dynamic range with that shot then, very impressive.

Ok so was on holidays in NZ last week and thought I might get a nice sunset - but surprise surprise too overcast. So one from 2008 from memory.
