Mine was bent up way worse than that, to the pint with top of the sill whhich should have a right angle was folder and bent up under and the right angle was a huge lip. ended yp cutting out a window in the sill, bent back into shape and cut a section from an old dented door to weld on the inside, still have a bit of bogging to do.
Hit that with a belt sander now mate.
As discussed earlier in the thread the deformation of your sill meant that cutting it out and replacing it with a new section was a good call. What you have done is a compromise and that's fine mate, I made the same compromise on my GQ.
That little spot welder is SENSATIONAL!!!!
Must be the time of year , only small damage , but enough to catch the corner of the door , also found that the brackets for 3 of the flair clips were non existent . So shaped a few bits of pine , glued to the flair , and stainless screwed from behind Attachment 44064Attachment 44065Attachment 44065Attachment 44066
