My third entry.
One of the many camels we saw last time in the Simpson.
Although they are not native they are still a welcome site.
This poor little wild cocky on a Qld island had some kind of disease.
Was very friendly though.

Entry 1 - Blue Tongue Lizard in my backyard, having a feed of a fresh chook egg I gave it.
By its size I'm thinking its going 2 be a mummy :)

I put this picture up in general banter, the other day. I found him in the pouch of my tool belt in the shed.
This was taken by my daughter as I was entering the water to warm up for the start of the 2008 Pier to Pub ocean race. At this stage there would have been over a thousand swimmers who had entered the water at this site. It was very aggressive and we picked it up by scooping up the sand under it and released it the other side of the rocks.
I now tread very carefully when entering the water there.
Are they dangerous?
