Hey MR, truth is i think i will go the sprayed option after all. After doing both now, the rolled on method is very labour intensive and alot harder to get a good finish. With the gun i'm almost getting a perfect finish straight out of the gun. Plus i managed to get both front panels sanded, preped and painted all before lunch today. Will do the other panels in sections when i get a chance.
Some close ups of the front panels. Little bits of fluff found their way on, but compound will sort them out nicely. Only sanded them down with 320 grit. Came up nicely and barely any orange peel at all.

What finish comes up better? ... When you don't burn a hole in it lol
When done properly, they both came out great. Sprayed is just easier.
