Depends how they're set up. Unless your making a copper bush like the early MQ / MK anything you put will deteriorate unless you make chassis mounts with load springs on top on the normal leafs so the shackle bushes can function correctly, some off a light truck even ( if you have worked on ) the old F150 trucks that Aus post used to use and a few canters i work on have this twin spring setup.

Any more info on those copper bushes? We we going to go down the line of bronze bushes but if there is copper ones avalible that might be a better idea.

Your better off calling your suspension specialist like Pedders or Whiteline coz all i know is that they are available for some early models like 1977 Dodge canter, 1980 - 86 Patrols just to name a couple

Coolies thanks for that ALitis007. I will make some calls today and see what happens. I still have my bloke designing something special so I will see which one works out best.
