Where did you route the power cable through the firewall for your amp?
I routed all my cables through the passenger side factory grommet. You have to un-tape it in the engine bay to get the cables through, which is very hard. Another option is to use the manual pedal hole if you have an auto.
After reading all the useful posts, I set about installing new front speakers and tweeters in my GU Y61
While at the end I am happy with the result, I also made a couple of mistakes that I am about to describe hoping to help others not do the same......
After unscrewing the fitting between the door and the car where all cables go through, I realised that there is a multi-pin plug that precludes passing another cable through, so I decided to put the tweeters in the door.
Not knowing how to remove the door trin I made a couple of mistakes:
I removed this trim which is not necessary to do.

Then I pried open the window switch instead of just removing the two screws and subsequently lost a 3mm ball bearing.

After that I drilled thehole for the tweeter:

And installed it:

Then drilled 10mm hole to pass the cable to the speaker gain control box:

and fitted the box:

Before reinstalling the door trim, I tightened all screws in the panel behind that were all loose (two had fallen to the bottom of the door:

Before reinstalling the door trim and the speaker, I put some shock cord in the old, stretched, elastic mesh:

Great job Flex. Looks awesome 👏
