Got some touring coming up so took off the 35's and put on the 33's.
I'd forgotten how nice my truck drives in the dinky wheels
Took a quick run up a little track today, much better on the suspension. It is a little hard on the arse as it is setup for towing, but very capable. While it was expensive I got exactly what I wanted with no stuffing around which is important to me. The next trip will be in two weeks up to Barrington Tops with the camper and the full family in tow. Should be a good trip.
Fitted the of water tank today, i will try to fit the water pump and tap which has a swivel outlet and switch on the base to turn the pump on or off before I go away next Wednesday for the Easter weekend. Attachment 56669

I made up a new rear power outlet thingo' with a ciggie socket, two pole socket and volt meter. Beat the hell out of those overprice Baintech jobbies!

Not that I really used them, I just hated looking at them every time I open the door.
I also finished putting all my dash back together, and put in a new loom for the lower rh bumper lights, too much playing around with them over the last week or so cause one of the wires to snap right off where it goes into the light socket...
Spent all day cut and polishing the car... I forgot how big they are!! Took me about 6 hours to to get around it, including most of the inside of the bonnet and all the inner door frames. Tomorrow, I'm going to go over all the seals, and clean the windows. Hopefully gonna get to the interior soon too. lol it's been about 9 months since it's had a clean so I really need to give it a good detail.
Pam is back!!!!!
Fitted -
- Narva 7" free form headlights with Phillips +100% globes (kept the incl Narva globes as spares).
- Traxide HL and Driving Light wiring upgrade kit I had left over from my Defender.
Was a challenge finding a location for the large relays. Ended up installing them inside the front right 1/4.
Highly recommend both additions, huge improvement in light over standard sealed beams.
Zorans Patrol did an injector pump on Friday.
Picked a second handy for $750 from Niss4x4 in Brooklyn.
Pulled apart on Saturday.
Manifold was clogged up, so blasted the shot out, degreased and washed.
Back in last night for $650 labour cost.
And away driving today.
He is very pleased.
Hopefully the pump is not a dud or ready to go aswell.
