I love that feeling when you pull up beside them again after a dog act like that.
I usually blow them a kiss...

Nothing shits me more then getting into a grove then running out of welding gas!!!! Only had 10 mins of weld left!!!
expensive here if you hire and dont use it often I have a $1500 Mig I packed away in favour of a small inverter welder I have .
Even my big Trans arc is packed away. Technology I suppose, would love the TIG hand piece but again Id need gas
I love welding with my TIG, but even with buying my own bottle the freight to and from Ballarat kills that idea. If I go with the local mob, yearly subscription and cost of the gas kills it too. The disposable bottles are expensive and the el cheapo regulator used with them are useless. Considering that Argon is only a bi-product from the process of producing oxygen and nitrogen it is way over-priced. Rant over. Going to get me a hot drink...
I pay $13 a month rental for a E sized bottle. And it's $70 refill for 100% argon and $60 for 75/25 arg/co2. That's delivered to my door as well. For a D its $3/month more then about $10 more to fill. I don't live in the sticks so that helps. I priced up going through boc and it was $25 a month and $150 delivered for a 100% argon in a smaller bottle.
For me to buy a bottle its $450 then nearly $100 per fill delivered. Bet you can work out who has my business
I bought my bottles (2) of Argon from Speed Gas, $450 for the G bottle and $75 for the fillup, that was 5 years ago, I need to get a refill as one is empty the other about so.
If I would have known BOC and AirGas charged by the month here I would have double the price of the software they bought from us.. monthly rental is a rip ..
It's the hose from the intercooler (Cross Country) to the intake manifold. I cut it about 20mm too short when we installed the IC. Came off in FNQ in August '14 also after coming out of the National Park road. Suppose to get another one, which I will measure twice and cut once Friday. So my bad but not having a standard 90 in 58mm (2.25") is tough to take locally.
