Brought a deep cycle 20 ah battery .
one of those small ones that suit golf buggies etc.
More than enough power for lights at camp for three days and saves me taking a full size battery.
Saves a bit of weight too

^^^ Sure is. I like a bit of age on my meat to make it taste better. Had the pan up real hot to make the out side of the chops nice and crispy, whilst the inside stayed tender. Hot and fast cooking time.
I bought a towbar for the XR6 and can home to find this !!! Apparently it's a much needed "tool" [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...015/10/416.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...015/10/417.jpg

Told ya....... It's just the beginning.
My small 20 AH battery has arrived,
its one that fits into golf buggies etc.
More than enough AH for a weekend of lighting
around camp, plus light enought to be easily moved if I need
it by the river bank or near a table for eg.
It fits in a small plastic dedicated battery box.
Nice and light saves carting a full size one around

Final draft recovery points from threedogs. Great bit of kit!!
They look the goods!!
Why are they still on the bench and not on your rig? keen to see them fitted up :)
Edit: Should have looked in the other thread first ;)
haha all good mate. A combination of lots of rain and drying paint hindered the progress.
While here, many thanks to John for these. When we realized they didn't fit, he didn't muck about building a prototype out of timber and sending it back and forth from the laser cutters, trial fitting on my car, and then the final build and powder-coat. Service at it's best so a huge thanks goes to him !!!!
Roof console ordered and paid for. Yeeee haaaaa.

Just bought one of these. Curious to see how it will compare to a more trusted scanner. If its good then I saved some money... If not it's on $25 lol.
Ryobi one 18v cordless reciprocating saw, awesome bit of kit. Already have the jigsaw, drill/driver and impact driver. The impact driver is freakin sweet.
