So I was setting up the missus WiFi and noticed I had a few choices of.. well not sure.. it had wap, wap2, 11n and the 802. .... Yea that one...
So went the 802 and all worked.. so I've gone back to my phone and manually chose the 802 and guess what.... All is good, and running quick as..

Wife did an update to her crapple and now all symptoms have gone aswell ??? :screwy:

Hey Kal - glad its sorted. Some of the mobile devices don't like 802.11n.....

Well.. I've been fighting my issue still.. changed a heap of things with no avail..
Well I've just been going threw my setting, and threw advanced WiFi setting and I saw this...

Avg have free version and it works well

I use MSE, free and easy to use. Depending on what you're trying to protect would govern how high you want your security to be. I haven't had any issues at all, ever, using this.
