One of the tie rod ends was a pain to get out, had a tool for it but resorted to a bigger hammer. Bit of bark missing too, oops.

Panhard OEM rubber needed a press to remove and replace, but it is done and ready to go.

So... the steering should be all nice and tight now. All the other bushed front and rear have been replaced in the last 6 months.

The alignment and all the new bushes etc. have made a whopping difference, steers better, no wandering all over the road so very happy.

I have a set (of 6) Cooper AT3 tyres for road sand use. They had some splitting around the bead and some flow cracks in the carcase between the tread blocks.

Last week my local tyre bloke had a look at 2 of them and felt I had a warrantee claim against Cooper even though the oldest was manufactured the 2nd week of 2012.

Took all 6 in yesterday, 4 are not real good the other two are fine. So he fitted 4 new tyres.

Asked him what I owe him for an alignment and my pro rata share of the tyres.

He said the Cooper rep has indicated a fair call on the damage and it probably wont cost me a cracker.

Could have flattened me with a feather! :jawdrop:

The rep is back in a fortnight so will see if its all real and not a dream!!! :Yahoo!:
