A quick one specially for Growler.
Name the lake. Clue.... a James Bond movie used this section of the lake in Thailand for one of it's locations.

Whilst we wait for Growler to stop enjoying himself & look at my Thai pics, someone else feel free to post up another Aussie location.

Ratchaprapha dam
Chiao Lan lake ;)
That's the one. Now get back to enjoying yourself. :)
ANYONE HAVE A LOCATION TO POST UP FOR US . GWARNAVAGO.
Go on and Have a go,,,,,, that's my take on it
To the corner TPC you know the drill, lol
Try this one...
I reckon I've seen it, just cant recall where. First thought was 'Victoria's Head' on the Gibb River Road..... but that's not it. (wrong shape, no Boabs).
How about the 'Lost City' in Litchfield NP?
Cuppa
Nope, and nope....the rock is described by many as having a resemblance to ET when viewed from a certain angle.
A bit of extra perspective. Let me know if it is too small a photo.
Ok, maybe a bit hard for some, but Cuppa, judging by a couple of your previous pics, you must have been close to this one... It is NT.
I'm pretty certain we haven't been along that road.
Pretty sure it's not Keep River or Gregory NP's, & not the Macdonnell ranges, which probably means it's in Kakadu. It looks right for Kakadu, but where I'm not sure. Seems like quite a 'major' dirt road. I'll guess at the road to Jim Jim falls as that's one we didn't go on. Am I any warmer?

Arnhem Land, not that far past your dragonfly shot. I think I have these pics which look very close to where your dragonfly was. Possibly just looking the other way.
Note that last rock formation - some reckon there is a rooster in that, whilst some others have been drawn to think there is a Kiwi in action there somewhere...
Ahhh. We stopped at Cahills Crossing. Arnhemland is one of my dreams. What I'd really love would be to find a reason to get to know Arnhemland over a year or more, without just being a tourist. If anyone has contacts and or experience working in Arnhemand I'd be very interested in hearing from you. It'll probably be a year or two before we can get up there, but I'd love to be able to develop contacts with communities up there.

Ok where is this piece of unique graffiti.

Remember seeing that before, asked Mum and she said its a bridge in Katherine.
Sent from my iPad using Motorculture mobile app
That was quick well done Winnie's mum. Katherine it is.
Your turn mate.
Cuppa
Were you on the bridge when you took that shot?

Winnie that photo has to have been taken on your recent trip I reckon. Don't think it's Walhalla, but it's up that way. Woods Point?
Yep it's the other side of the river at Woods Point.
What about this one? Bit harder I think but still pretty easy.

Can the makeuguess photoputterupperer or the guess'imgood poster please still make sure the photo is correctly identified?
Could the person who posts the photos, and the person who guesses them correct, kindly help the rest of us with a rough location.
Sorry, Cuppa!
Where we at , at the moment ????????
I understood what you meant, just not why you were saying it. :) A reasonable point to make, Woods Point which could be anywhere in Australia, is in fact between Walhalla & Jamieson, North Gippsland, Vic.
Identifying places both by name & location is something we should strive to do. Sometimes it's easy to forget that the name of a place is insufficient for others to locate it.
TD, We are waiting for someone to correctly guess Winnie's little house on the tree stump....... any ideas?
Cuppa
Thought that was correct answer "Winnies little house on the tree stump" LOL
