Insurance got issued a 7 day letter of demand that they reimburse my medical expenses, nearly 1k work they owe so they sent me a cheque for $20...........whackers!!!!!!
Why is it so hard for people trying to do the right thing and always end up getting bent over? (Rhetorical queation lol).
When it comes to insurance companies you need to remember they are there to make a profit, and paying out on claims isn't overly profitable.
In cases like this you need to be a squeaky wheel. It can take years, but it's the only way.
It probably seems insignificant, but at work I'm now a supervisor. In order to gain this level I have to complete a checklist which includes passing an oral board sit by three higher ranking members. I had 12 months to complete this checklist and I've done it about 8 months later. Anyway, I went to hand my completed forms in and the lady on the other side of the counter said I was a bit behind the 8 ball. I didn't tell her that my old man lost his life to cancer 7 months ago and because of this, I decided to put everything on hold because I just didn't feel stable. She probably doesn't know my situation and how I feel, but I felt so proud of myself for moving forward and getting things done. I felt so happy until those few comments, and now I feel so angry.
I know it's stronger to move on, but how do I make myself feel better about morons and their stupid small minded comments?
Thanks Cameron. Distraction is key!
