That's an awesome idea! If I could get some printed with a Radom rego number nothing like mine that would be brilliant! Especially when going off grid!

I actually put a bit of thought into that idea a couple of years ago.
Yeah apart from the non magnetic aluminium conundrum, a magnetic would come off in a river crossing.
I came up with a couple of ideas:
1: get a number plate holder made up that allowed a piece of colorbond or ally etc to slide in front.
2: slide a small dome head bolt through the number plate holes from the back and glue so a cover can be quickly bolted on with some wing nuts.
3: some kind of clip straps like on back packs.
