Hey guys. It'd been a pretty big week for me. Here comes a bit of an insight into me and who I am.
I've been a workplace delegate for a few years now, at Qantas, and have put my all into my role and the protection of my colleagues rights and their jobs. As most will know, it's been a massive year at Qantas with 5000 jobs to go and massive hits in my area of telephone sales with 540 jobs being made redundant in Melbourne and Brisbane.'
Anyway, the first half of this week was spent in Melbourne at the Australian Services Union National Conference. I had an amazing time, meeting other delegates and hearing from some fantastic speakers but the best part of the conference for me was the conference dinner.
