I wondered where I lost it. :smileyvault-cute-bi
Sent this straight to my dad, made his day!
After feeding like crap for the last two days, this little stick got me over the line. Amazing.. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...80530dd7f6.jpg

I disconnected all LPG lines in the old caravan today. After taping off the fridge fitting I used a can of carby cleaner and blasted the crap in the line from the oven back to the fitting at the regulator. After that I taped off the oven fitting and cleaned the fridge line.
I was amazed at how much tar, rust flakes, metal and rubber swarf fine grit collected in a plastic container I placed under the reg fitting.
After repeating the process until the output cleared up, I blasted LPG through the lines. This resulted in clear carby cleaner after a few goes.
I will source a fine mesh filter to place in the line to collect any further contaminants.
After our wet weekend getaway and chatting with the others, I've decided to get back on to this forum on a more regular basis. Not only checking in and having a read, but contributing. I've been here for 11 years and I've made some friends on here. This place is great we all know it and say it. Yes Facebook has screwed up a lot of forums, but some input from a lot of us members can go a long way.
Well my 2 cents..

Just in the process of changing brakes and bearings in the caravan, heading off to FNQ in a couple of weeks. My wife said she was up to it so I booked it in. I really need a holiday and some warm weather.
Following Cuppa’s adventures and my daughter and family’s outback trip is definitely making me restless.
I'm so glad E is ok to go, Jack. Enjoy the break and have an adventure.
Now that I have been lucky enough to start a new lease on life with getting my heart transplant out of the way and living our new life her on the Sunshine Coast in QLD and have reached the ripe old age of 50

/ As per my other post to you mate. Wonderful to read you and that engine swap over went well and you're living the dream up north /
/ I remember talking to you about the ticker issues somewhere. Maybe at Mattys place meet up? Can't remember /
/ I too had a scare back in May and ended up in the resus unit, but all good so far /
Well I didn't join the 50 club but joined another pretty special club!!
I washed and washed that ranger and pop. A y62 appeared!!!

Nice, congrats..
Let the mods begin
Damn! Nice one mate. I was sooo close to getting one but the moons didn't align so Im stuck with my old shitter for now.
Noice. Been a passenger in one. If my Ol' Trol ever karks it, I will seriously look at upgrading. They have awesome get-up-and-go, and are very comfortable.
Wow congratulations mate, she looks lovely [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Thanks guys.
I saw someone call them a lounge on wheels.
I'd have to agree. Really different seating position compared to the old GQ and GU. Certainly sit more upright but so much room. I was literally sitting like I was on a lounge for most the trip home..
Now to learn off mudrunners mistakes and guidance and build it up.
This won't be nuts. Im honestly considering just standard height and larger tyres for trips.
But we'll see.

We survived the gale force winds last night, but wow ! The trees around here were out to get us! Thank god for the volunteers of the SES.

[QUOTE=jay see;851690]Thanks for the mention jay see. It's been an interesting few days.
We're entering the wind season for next few months. Every year flat out for us without fail. But part of the job I guess. Worked along side the SES legends, heaps since Friday.
They're like 3 tonne HSV's. It's a surreal feeling jumping in a car that big and still pushes you against the back of the seat at throttle!
Few of my work mates have 62's and riding in the car with them gets the juices flowing. And then after that jumping into a GU with a old clonker diesel. Different worlds.
Still love my GU though.
Awesome colour too mate. Go white or good night! I reckon.
Picked a great deal on some rims for my GU yesterday. 5 for 1250 roh 17*9 neg 12
Thanks to Daz's threads I flew through the tow bar install.
anxiety was through the roof when pulling pannels off. But its seriously all clips.
Love the y62.
