Our EBA negotiation's have just turned to s*** and it's about to get bloody ugly. Industrial actions coming up as company vs. union meetings have hit a brick wall. Never a good thing, as one doesn't know how long it will last and who will cave in. Nervous times ahead.

Alarm didn't go off, so they didn't make contact as it's very sensitive. Couldn't pick up their rego since the turds parked several houses down. Other neighbours cam would have got their car fully but they're away for weeks. Had a great week off, did a 2" lift on the new truck. First day back at work today and the biatch of a boss is already giving me a hard time. Great job, hate the boss. Just got an email to call her again tomorrow. Apparently 12hr day is not long enough. Any one got a job going?

I think this will be a similar situation as us contracting in the IT industry. I would be surprised if what they have done is illegal from their side. Just means you have tax responsibilities as if you were employed. So I'm guessing it was your responsibility to pay the Tax Office because you were using the ABN etc.Quote:

Union vs. company s***fight regarding our EBA is intensifying by the minute. Going to work each morning is like driving through thick fog. Not knowing what's going to happen once I'm through the gates... Even scarier, it seems it'll all lead into and beyond xmas too.

It's an absolute bastard mate. The unknown ahead is eating everyone away and the morale at work is at rock bottom. Company is trying to divide and conquer, there is split little social opinionated groups on the union side, and people are stressing.
