Just scored a brand new rear portion of my Beaudesert exhaust without muffler, for peanuts. So I can swap from straight through to muffler easily, 6 bolts.
Also bought a Redarc BCDC1240, battery tray, cabling, lugs etc.... for dual battery install this weekend.
Will see how she sounds straight lol.
Also my bcdc will be back-fitted onto the battery tray and cabled appropriately. Looked neat on the 3L with a busy engine bay so, 4.2 engine bay will be cake !
Yeah i made up nice bracket in the 3ltr but i know these chargers dont like heat and will perform better when cooler so i thought while its out....

Ive had a few to many close calls when merging or changing lanes because people are either too close behind me to see the bottom indicators or are expecting the dummy lights to light up so I bought a pair of working tail lights with indicators.
I've recently installed globes into my dummy lights for brake and tail which has been great but I really want indicators for that extra level of safety.
I bought these on Friday morningso hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow.

A windscreen rubber, some chrome strips, 2 fuel senders and a plastic lens cover. $200 postage. Damn the American $.
It's a simple brake setup like hydraulic..
Just off eBay bloke. Went a 10" hub.
The bloke i bought the van from did a dodge and threw 10" hubs on 9" backing plates so atm it has no brakes.
If you want the hand brake setup make sure it's fitted or its a lot of stuffing around.
This is the hubs but I got stub axles and hitch from the same bloke..

@ Kallen can you activate the brakes via your
in-cab brake controller, for going say down hill
Link not working
Yes when I fit it all.
I adjusted the link.
Bought this locally
today for $274.60 with
money received for
birthday presents
Mine is actually
323500 B.
It is on special and
comes with a
reversible ratchet
attachment. Aussie
made too, which is
a bonus. I had to
replace my el cheapo
micrometer torque
wrench, because I
left it sitting on the concrete
in the sun, while I was working
on the Old Trol, wound up to
140 ft lb. Now it is
way out of whack.
hi i just bye patrol 4.2 engine it is good
i may upgrade engine to install turbo any idea
Bought a 24mm rear sway bar for the GUIV and a pair of HD extended links. Can't wait to fit it up.
Got myself a second cf50 waeco
Second hand 1 year old in good condition $400
Now to see if I can get my head around solar
2 50's is good fridge one behind driver and freezer/food one in the back.
Should I say will be good.
Should probably get that second battery first ay.
Pro Diesel in Drysdale. They had a run of custom made 24mm rear sways done. he made 10 and has 3 left as of today. $250 for the sway bar and the 2 HD links for the rear of the GUIV are Roadside from him too at $120. I broke my way bar on the snow trip and have broken Many links over the time so a 24mm sway bar was always going to break factory links.
16t air assisted pipe bender.
That should make the bar work a bit easier.
