Good job Nicco! No beers for me today, maybe overindulged last night watching the footy.
I got another coat of oil down on everything this time, weather looks nice for the next few days so it should dry by Thursday night when Storm are playing again [emoji28]
All that is left to go now is the ceiling and just finish off some small details on the stairs.

Haha yeah the shed will do for the next 10 years or so lol. Next is to put in a 2nd driveway and carport for the caravan on the south side of the house and then put a 2nd storey on the house... I won't be doing that job on my own!

Love it mate! Super practical.

I finished off my storage deck. I suppose it's a mezzanine floor. I added some steel cabinets, which will be used for degreasers, paints chemicals etc.
I finished the stairs too. It's the first set of stairs I've built and I'm fairly happy with the fit up.

I had an agapanthus party this weekend.
Bloody hell jesus of St Mary those guys have some serious roots.
I literally pulled out 50 of these destructive things and just burnt it all off.
I've had that stuff regrow after nearly ten years. Killed it with many applications of Brushoff, and Roundup with a surfactant. Dug out the roots and followed as many tiny ones as I could get to. Was bloody surprised to see it come up in a ring around the area I cleared. Tough as old boots.
More of a combined weekend weeknight project. Slowly been making my way through the dogs brekky that was my shed. I had a basictable router that I just did not have room to setup, and was not practical to pull out everytime I wanted to use it, so it just didn't get used. I had an epiphany tonight and knocked it in here. At furthest back position it sits just behind the mitre saw. Stoked with the end result!

I think you need to rid yourself of some of that clutter by bringing it straight over to my clutter, where i am sure it will be happier, and probably never used, but I want it all, very nice collection Nico!
Haha it's slowly getting there mate! Been a few years in the making, I feel like I'm at a stage regarding timber work, I need Not much else and the things I need won't fit. Just need to start making stuff with it all!

Thrilled! I tidied up my tub wiring, and added a compressor and some more lights. Also changed the solar panel controller to a higher amp one I had laying around. All items correctly fused related and earthed across proper busbars. Fridge not shown in this pic but sits neatly next to the compressor. Also tidied up the battery parralell but forgot to take a pic.http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...021/08/200.jpg

Finally dug the trench to lay the last section of RG11 cable that the stupid excavator operator ripped out even though I told him and marked the ground exactly where it is. First job to do when we were starting our house Reno’s and they fuck up on the first day, within the hour of starting. Anyhow finally dug the trench. On took five hours and a god full off pain killers for the rooted back.

Then I started not one but two fires and enjoyed the evening with some whiskey.

So on Friday night our wood fire heater had its own fire in the flue. Today’s job to clean it out. A simple job never is. After cleaning the fire box out I decided to replace all the fire bricks as the base was stuffed and half the side bricks were broken.
All good now.

Well done mate! Super productive weekend for you!

Thanks Nic. Yeah unfortunately not as productive as usual anymore, due to me taking twice as long to do anything because of hindering back issues. But I’d go stir crazy if I just sit a veg out in front of the idiot box all weekend.

Nice work @jay see , Nic & Mudski 👍🏻 Long story short apon replacing the poly water pipe to my shed I discovered water coming out from under the house slab - a concrete saw into the slab , 3 days of digging & replacing firstly the 90mm storm water pipes that were pushed together - NO GLUE !!!! & re doing all the mess of spaghetti plumbing out from under the bathroom that was an absolute shit fight & we’re done . I can’t post pics on here so you’ll have to take my word for it . What a saga . Glad we were rained / snowed off from work anyway so I was home to do the labouring , now I’m rooted & sore & keen to go back to work .
