3dogs I did a trip out to cunnamulla last year on the drive out from Brisbane we saw heaps of goats say 100 just on the side of the road from st George to cunnamulla then on the 60 000 acre property we were hunting on we would have seen at least 200 in all different mobs I'd say the biggest mob was about 30-50 head easy.
Not bad breeding in 200 years
Look at the link you posted
Kallen is now headbutting the wall again...

I have a cz452 .22 with a 0.5lb trigger and a slop retainer.. I can shoot a 10c piece at 100m, shooting roughly 6" above the target through a scoop but can hardly see the 10c piece can anyone recomend a diffrent scope?

What distance are you zeroing at?
mad gq what are you zeroed at? 25 metres or something? My 22 stirling is and inch high at 50 metres and bang on the money at 75 metres using winchester power points. as for shooting a 22 at 100 metres youre running out of puff and may not have enough energy for a humane kill. so I use my 22/250 at 100m.
Try bringing up you elevation on your scope
Also with a .22 you dont want huge zoom as you mostly have it set at 3 times... only paper shooters want big scopes.
Was out for a walk at our family farm with hekarewe and he saw 2 deer but too far to have a shot at. The next day in the same area we found this shed. I'm getting closer to getting these fallow deer I want venison damn it
I need some Sambar antler for a knife handle..... thanks for reminding me Macca !!!
Yay my tikka is here! So smooth and shiny I'm in love!
Also a pic or calibre sizes that I have. 42gn .22 a 55gn 22/250 and the 150gn 7mm rem mag
For my first 10 shots it's clean the barrel every time then for the next 40 shots clean the barrel every 5 shots but never get the barrel hot shift bullet fired every 3-5 mins. Then after that after every shoot really
Yeah bullet description is from left to right. The 7mm is a little bigger haha
It sucks doesn't it running in a barrel !!!!
I wish they came already run in...
Yeah and people at the range stare at you the whole time and you get bored but at least I've got 2 other guns to shoot while running this one in
Not bad for wifey's 1st attempt at archery, basic recurve at 10m.

Love bow shooting and would like it if Mags got into it I think it would be good therapy...
It is fun and great to let off steam, hoping it will help strengthen my core a bit to relieve some pressure off my back
In court that would be called exhibit "A" lol
Anyway saw this might be ok for shooting

40 shots into my tikka 7mm rem mag. This is a grouping at 100 metres just under an inch so shooting m.o.a. Out the box on factory ammo using Winchester super x 150 gr rounds at 3100fps.
Still needs some work I'm 3 inch high at 100 m but that's what I want and one inch to the right so gotta fix that but ran out of rounds. I shall wind it to the right 3 clicks and then get another 100 m grouping then move out to 200m where if my ballistic chart is right I should be bang on target at 200 m.
After 20 rounds I had a very sore shoulder. Yesterday I used the other 20 rounds but tried a different part of my shoulder and all good but I shall invest in a limb saver recoil pad. It's not a bench rest rifle it's definetly a hunting rifle but manageable.
Only 11 days till my big hunt so gotta fix it up next weekend!
My first outing was a disaster with the new firearm as my scope mounts broke under recoil! Turned out to be faulty steel casting. Qld gun exchange fixed it up by doing new rings (same brand) and giving me a free cap and polo shirt for my effort not bad but still doesn't replace the 20 rounds of ammo wasted trying to sight and run her in
