Delicious chocolate, haha.
Said the final goodbye to WAGS today, loyal and faithfull companion for seven years. Lead a great life with us and will be sadly missed.
We enjoyed spoiling you in the last few weeks of your life, and you enriched ours.
Always had hunting dogs (staghounds and foxies) prior to this one, he originally came from an abused background. We assume he was about 16 years old and would have had some stories to tell. Took a long time to gain our trust but after that he became a loyal and faithfull companion.
Grandkids named him and it suited him, goodbye WAGS the dog.

There is a show on tv "MATE" where a guy does Taxidermy for pets.
Being from the States its a bit OTT, but does show you how much love we put into our pets.
My guy next door has the ashes of his Heeler in the bedroom, 21yrs old the heeler was.
I wouldnt do it, but some ppl replace loved ones with pets .I know I did with Jack {Doberman}
My red staffy, duke
I feel for ya mate.... I still miss my boy so much and when I see something like this it all comes flooding back.
All the best.
To say I'm blown away by the response to my post is an understatement, thanks everyone, really appreciated.
Who would have thought the flea bitten little mongrel we bought home would have such an impact. We only took him on as we felt sorry for him and let the grand-kids name him.
He used to cower when you looked at him or he heard a loud voice, spent the first couple of weeks attempting to escape but gradually gained our trust. Turned into a great little mate and watch dog.
He developed a heart condition in the last year and his long daily walks turned from vigorous treks to short slow strolls around the neighborhood, he never eased up on marking every available pole though. The last couple of months he had a rapid weight loss and that turned out to be diabetes and liver problems. He spent the last few weeks relaxing on the couch or my knee but was always alert if anyone came to the door.
We agreed that we were not going to prolong his life for our benefit, he peacefully died in my arms at the vets.
Hey all,
This is Ted my 11month old Weimaraner, which some of you will meet on Australia Day :)

And for those who have lost dogs, happiness is only a rescue dog away!!!!
That's a sore topic. I think he is small but I'm told he is big. He was 34kg at one point then a bout of sickness brought him down to 30kg.
Good excuse to pamper and over feed him.
I'm trying to upload a photo of our pup at the moment, the app isn't working. We are off to puppy school tonight
He will be over the rainbow bridge ( google it if you don't know) kicking back and pissing on every pole/tree out there. He play with my AJ that we had put down earlier in this thread
You know puppy school is about training the owner more than the dog right? We went right though obedience training for my last dog AJ and it is honestly more about what we learnt and we have now applied this to our new pup
He does some awesome tricks, one day when i bring him to a patrol meet I'll show you
do you have two dogs now ?
Update on Billy [left] he now weighs in at 48 kg and boy
is he strong big lump of a thing he is
@ Apollo that call was in his best interest you did the right thing IMO
Think I went through two boxes of tissues with both Jack then croozer .
Now Tyson shows signs he's not that well but we'll see.
Yeah 3d's I'm the same I don't think I've cried since I was a kid but when we put ours down I cried like a 3yr old girl
