Winnie are you hard wiring it??? You'll also need a travel base they are great, you change the 4 feet on the fridge to suit the base.
no need for tiedown straps .Always work better full
As said mate, let's just wait and see the conditions of the fire and the weather and wind. No one is going there if the conditions are iffy and no one can comment about it at this point in time so let's all talk mid next week.
Is it all of us? Do we even know?
Not long to go now!!!
What's so much better about it? Remember its only temporary until I get a new Patrol
the weakest link in your Fridge is the amount of power it can get, voltage drop is a bit of a biatch. Fitting an Anderson Plug is a strong hi flow connection. I have an Anderson plug in the back of the GQ and the GU and both my Waeco and my Engel have had the plugs replaced with Andersons. Cig plugs tend to break too.
As you say though its a pretty temporary install so the Cig Plug will be fine mate. Long term go the Anderson mate.
That's the future plan mate.
When you get new trol you can hard wire it properly, whatcha getting???????????????
Yeah, f**k going to Woods Point... I rode through kinglake in about 2007ish? during bushfire season, didn't know why it was all smokey and sh1t. Nearly filled my pants when I got home and was informed.
The ignition point was Aberfeldy and that fire is heading South East. Note that Walhalla is just to the North East of Erica which can be clearly read on that map. Woods point is a fair way to the North West of the ignition point and i dont believe is in any way at risk right now. That map was produced yesterday and i will keep an eye out for an update of yesterdays spread and post when it is online.
Its not over yet.
just reading the DSE site it currently heading North East and up towards Licola from Aberfeldy. We will have to watch and see guys.
Tuff country up that way to try and control a fire, maybe Mother Nature will step in somehow.
Thought they were closer to Licola than that
Time is the only thing that will tell.
Love to see a stocked fridgeAttachment 24612
Haha of course not I will bring cans. This will be gone by the weekend lmao
Yeah show some respect to our mighty VB, and cut a bit of insersion rubber between layers, stops the top can becoming the bottom can. Empty wine bladders full of water are great to stop stuff moving in the Engel. Plus you have cold drinking water, also handy for medical washing wounds and radiator top ups. Last one great for cleaning mud off number plate and lights to keep boys in blue happy, OH and your fridge wont cycle as much as its full of cold product {space}
I that what the rubber mat thing that came with the fridge is for? It was under the basket in a plastic bag and I assumed it was supposed to go on the bottom??
I cut some other stuff but full of cans they are rubbing on the wire basket, better on a flat surface IMO
last thing you want is to open your golden grog fridge and find them all swimming. need plan B for cans as well spare 12 hiding somewhere maybe, wine bladders little bit of water in them perfect .best travelling product ever, even good for seat, pillow
Goon bags are fantastic. Full of alcohol and when you're done blow it up into a pillow. Great idea filling them with water John, gonna steal that one.
Best freebie around mate as you always need water hey. Try local pub and ask for huge 10 litre ones I think they are. awesome as.
You need the icebox off the front of my camper/ trailer 96 cans plus ice
Ill go around this arvo
when i go away i use 10lt casks of water from the supermarket for drinking water. when your finished the inner bags are great for filling voids in your fridge when traveling. I dont put water in them though? i just blow them up as much as needed and put them in the fridge.
The water casks are 10lts though so work well as 3dogs says.
Thanks MDR just trying to keep Winnie hydrated, You know these young bucks.
Are you trying to tell me that VB won't keep me hydrated??
