Our camp site last night - out in the Mulga, about 400 metres off the road, 30kms south of White Cliffs, NSW.

Just after this photo was taken my camera died. It's a 'superzoom camera, fixed lens, & now all it tells me is that it has a lens error, makes graunchy sorts of noises then shuts down. Still have a tiny Sony T9 (point & shoot) - which will have to do for now. B*llocks!
Did all of 30kms today, met a couple who live in great dugout & have an opal claim. Our camp tonight on their claim.

Had a couple of kms of 1st low rock & roll getting in to last night's camp spot..... up on Tassie's Central Plateau.
Result was a lake all to ourselves, (& a few 'Forester' roos plus a quoll).
Passed another Patrol on his way out. He wound down his window & called out "Where the hell are you taking THAT?"
