Nice trip report Snicko, great pics as well. Made several trips through Parachilna gorge myself on the weekend, missed you by a day I guess. We hit it on Saturday 10am.
Wasn't real excited about diesel prices at Hawker though, what were the prices like further north??

I tried to ring on the Saturday morning but had no service on the phone so looks like we just missed you - bugger!!
The dearest fuel prices we found was in Innamincka at 2.09.9c a litre. We donated quite a bit of money there!!
Yer no service at all, would of been good to catch up, if the timing was right we had a whole homestead between 4 of us,
7 spare beds and a cracker of a fire.

Nah we had a great run up and back, Went up through Clare rather than cop all the traffic along Port Wakfield way, Coming home was just as good, through Wilpeena to Hawker then onto P'Wakefield rd, traffic was minimal, Channel 7 was all set up at Wakefield ready for a busy one though with all there satelite dishes and what not, Only saw 1 officer of the law on the way up and return....nnnniiiiiccccccceeQuote:
