You need a permit for

Mt Mcall Track

Saw back Range track

Mt Wellington some tracks

Plus a few others


Beach driving is possible without a permit at
Ocean Beach Strahan
St Albans Bay to Bellingham. Bridport area

As Lucas said. Chris Bodens book is a must have. It shows lots of easy tracks as well as some medium and hard tracks. Lots of info about history in areas

500+ kms today.
Devonport to Arthur's river, then looped back to Stanley. Queenstown and surrounding areas tomorrow.
