Could also be you are missing the top rubber hat off your coil springs,
mine is making a noise over speed humps as well and I'm going to fit
15mm coil spacers to the top, it will even out the ride a tad as well.

How hard is it too see them? Can you see them with the coils still in ?

Well today I put on a alloy roof cage. Absolute chit of a job and the other day I put a UHF in also.
