Have gutted the GQ and found a few spots of rust which I treated and patched as required in drivers floor:

I found the source of the water ingress was actually from rust in the cowl panel under the grill at the bottom of the windscreen:

Is a difficult area to access to clean up properly, wondering if anyone has experience replacing the cowl panel in a GQ?
Alternatively I will just do my best to treat the rust and fill the gaps!
