I have the same compressor. They are a bit noisy but heat is a bigger issue. Even sitting on the ground they generate a lot of heat. If I were to mount that in a box I would be installing a couple of 120mm fans to keep the temps down. As I noticed mine has a thermal cut out. So when it gets hot, it stops.Quote:

Mate I don't have an issue with heat, I pulled the compressor apart and rewired it. 1.2m of stainless braided line absorbs the heat plus the fittings. Its not overly loud but a have a rubber base and 4x 10x1.25 bolts plus nylocks . I ran it non stop over the weekend and pump up three 4x4's with tyres deflayted from the dunes.Quote:
