That pipe needs replacing! Contact patrolapart and get a new one. About $30 I believe. Only advice I can give is lots of inox around the thread as well as inside the pipe. When you turn the nut, the entire pipe turns with it. Not sure if this info will help you, just good to know.

Bonus only $20 at the moment, thanks Parksy.

Looking good mate!
I just picked up my distributor for my conversion yesterday, bloke give me a ecm for free too! Happy days.. Just need to sort out a fuel pump...

Thanks, whilst the engine bay is relatively clear I think it's best to get all the looms sorted, of course a little bit more involved with a swap over and requiring both vehicles to be running at the end.Next move is to view the Nissan EFi tank in situ and make plans to transfer, although my hitches are the feed line diameters and varying lengths between Lwb ans Swb.
Side note the Patrol has dual piston front calipers where as the Maverick has single, should I upgrade?

Okay at the engine bay firewall with EFI loom complete, which way through firewall, into car or out in to engine bay? It seems both ways there is a problem, in the pic it shows a fuse unit that sits on the outside of the guard relay housing, this is as small as I can get it and does not look like it will pass through into the car. What to do.

Has anyone unplugged the plugs around the gearbox, if so how do you access them? I was going to cut and resplice onto the Maverick loom but the colours are different ie: Maverick White/Green/Grey/Black/ Blue and a Yellow with blue trace.
Patrol White/ Black/light blue/Blue/greeny Blue/ dark blue.

Impatience is a virtue, got back under the auto box reached up between drive shaft an gearbox and tried to follow the looms along the top of the box. They run through 4 folded steel guides which I was able to fold back and allow the looms to drop unplugged the first from the front driver side and the remaining 2 are located at the rear of the box passenger side one above the other. once these plugs are released the main battery lead / starter /alternator fuel metering and of course gearbox loom can be removed from the car. Possibly a win is that the 3 remaining leads appear to be the same in both vehicles, I will double check tomorrow.

Okay, moved main heater hoses over on each vehicle, replaced steel pipe spigot in rear of patrol with Maverick short spigot and the new branch spigot from Patrolapart into the Maverick ( had to remove Auto dipstick to turn in),so now these hoses will fit onto the LPG Heat chambers once refitted into the vehicles after the loom has been run. The coil and points dizzy now fitted to the Patrol and the electronic ignition and dizzy now fitted to Maverick. The branch pipe and hose setup that runs under the Plenium chamber shows signs of corrosion so this part is to be replaced as access now is easy. To keep in with the upgrade I decided to swap the alternators this also involved the short looms to be swapped (10 mins), today I will finish installing these short looms by connecting up the auto gearbox plugs (3 on this loom), after which will leave a further 3 plugs to be fitted back up when the main loom goes in.
The looms:
Efi runs both side of the engine and down both sides to the rear of the vehicle crossing 2x one behind the dash and one under the mat beneath the front seats.
Carby runs around the engine bay to along the drivers side to the rear of the vehicle crossing 2x one behind dash and one under mat beneath the front seats.

whilst under the car thought that I would checkout the fuel pump, patrol has an aftermarket long range tank fitted, its a snug fit so I might leave alone and get an aftermarket fuel pump, any suggestions please?

All mechanicals done on Patrol and gas system fitted, so now to the Maverick to remove the entire loom, here we go again.
