my patrol has as standrad a rear diff lock is there any point in me fitting one to the front wheels

thanks again to all the info so far has being great i was thinking of up grading the exhaust pipe and maybe fitting a chip as the car is great to drive but its so slow at take off and i feel its really restricted chips on ebay start that at a few hundred dollors to over a $1000 is it worth the power gain and are they all what they say they are

ok thanks to all for great advise so far
Just in case you were unshore.the stall converter is locked in low 4 in all gears on gu 2012 but the a/c on helps s#$t loads to slow you down diwn hill.Turn the vcd off when traveling slow very important it will lock all 4 wheels up and stop the car if the wheels spin ,and hey presto bogged especially in sand.vcd is u real on grave croagated roads with 26psi tyre pressure if its hot ,more if it's cold, tyre presure!! There are great guide in 4x4 magazine's on tyre pressures.
