Gave it a bath and removed the white "nissan" lettering from the tail gate handle as it was faded and horrible looking. You'll never guess it, but armoral dash protectant works best to remove the white letters.

Almost got stuck in the bush on a track, finally found a place to turn around, then still managed to back into a tree on the way back down :S Luckily it was only the black plastic part of the bumper and nothing else.
Ran cem oil flush through and changed the oil and filters.
Got 12ltr out after the flush not too bad.
12ltrs? That's amazing. What's the capacity normally?
Bought myself an ARB winch bar (came with an X9 winch) and a set of ARB sidesteps and scrub bars for the Q. Was a reasonable secondhand deal. Probably pull the winch apart for a refresh before fitting it up....quite pleased!
Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....
Made mine a cargo barrier today that's moveable so I can have behind either the 2nd or 3rd row of seats. used some 25x25x3 RSH and a pipe bender to make the frame it worked out better than I thought it would and then welded on some reinforcing meshing that was left over from the shed floor.
Also made up a rear hook mount that goes onto the standard tow point. Beefed up the attachment section of the chassis with a length of 12mm flat bar, only issue with the whole thing was having to drop the fuel tank that has about 80lts in it
10.2 with a filter change
Sold the gq will remove the rack and tent tomorrow to go on the gu and swap the wheels back over.
With thanks to Jonathan (BloodyAussie) for the gift, I put some Nissan Patrol.com.au stickers on my podmobile.

Also fitted 'Black Duck' canvas seat covers to the new (to me) bucket seats.

They'll look a bit better once they have been sat in a bit & 'moulded' themselves to the shape of the seats.

Super bright!
Sold the gq after removing the rack and tent then removed the rack from the GU ready to do the swap, I also pulled all the staples from the Hannibal tent cover so I can replace the cover with a new one before I put it onto the GU.
@ Cuppa with the extension speaker, put two ,one behind Mrs Tea as well.
Have done that on all my 4x4 with radios, cause if you're concentrating on a section of road say
, you have someone else who can hear and relay any message, being Mrs Tea
Started and finished stage 1 of my drawers into the GU.
Fitted my new and refurbed GU4 leather steering wheel into the old girl today. Had to modify my clock spring from a GU4 clcok spring so it would work. Worked a treat went off to work and I heard an almighty crack when I full locked right. Got home and found that my clock spring had snapped off the loom inside. Rang a few wreckers and found out its not uncommon for this to happen but no-one had one. So I soldered it all back together. Now to put it all back in tonight.
installed a bogaard plug n play turbo timer in my gu . Works great , easy to install

Made a 20L water drum and tap to be secured to the cargo cage.. tap is run along side the fridge to the rear.
Looks good, will trial the 20L while camping with the in-laws, if needed will add another 20..

I have, I like to see my levels though. Will look at a bladder to sit behind middle row at some stage, but the tanks fit in a nice void behind the fridge so really no space wasted..

New TPS, and associated parts, being fitted today under warranty. My new neoprene seat covers arrived and will be fitted when I get the car back. They look the goods, well made, can't wait to see how they fit. Will post a pic once they're on.
Yeah please do mate. This is something I need to do, aswell as get a cover for my dash as last time I went out with BA I had mud all over my seats and on my dash. Stupid me leaves the window open don't I when I dive into a big puddle of mud!
As for me. I fixed my busted clock spring. Soldered it back up. Save me a few hunge getting another one. Now whats next o my list. Fit my GPS tracker...
I replaced the glow relay in mine today which fixed the issue I've been having and now I can start the car without getting under the bonnet with a cable, hahahaa
Pouring rain now so haven't been able to get a decent pic mate, sorry. However, the covers fit like a glove and look almost as good as Mego's leather jobbies :). One unexpected bonus of the neoprene covers is the grip they give! It's like being velcroed into the seat.
Somebody call about my seats. LOL

Look like mine hey, we'll see.
I had to drive around with a mate to 4 wreckers, to find Pajero side steps that were in near perfect condition, then had to haggle down.
Then I had to drive around with Pajero parts in the back.
How embarashment.
A couple of pics of the seat covers Mudski.

This is their website. Inland Australia handled the online order. When I called to let them know I was moving they got the covers to me a couple of weeks ahead of schedule so I had them before the move, even though I said I was happy just to give them my new address for delivery.
3" exhaust. Fitted today
Next step is the chip it chip

Bloke at one of the 4x4 shops in Warragul asked if he could put one of his stickers on my car... I was like, uh, I have never even bought anything off you? He was genuinely shocked when I didn't want it on there.
Just threw together this.. top marks if you can guess what it is..
