Seeing this really rattles me. My daughter recently bought her first car. Kinda hits home seeing pics like this.

Hugs from pearcey mate, no,no not you , the young lady.
So glad shes OK.
Hows the missus with it all, hope shes OK as well, as these things can effect mums pretty bad.
Hug's all round from Pearcey.
Wow Avo that's crazy. Great news she is ok. That's a decent small accident.
Wife was in a fence bender recently. It's crazy in the dash cam footage its not that big a hit but they wrote the car off still. Given its not worth the much to start with but the payout s about 3 times what I figured it was worth lol

Managed to knock another door up today and with the wife's help made a start on my daughter's new bed. Got the bedhead sanded.
Just have to make one more door than onto the new bed.

@rusty-nail doing framed ledge & brace doors for our house. Had a load of timber delivered just before syd lock down_pleased with that.
See the light thru the panel boards, did you bother rebating frame for panel boards or just fix to back?
What track did you buy (ebay)?
Making mine out of red iron bark (external) and some black cypress (internal).
No mate, I didn't want the extra work. They are just glued and screwed together. At the end of the day the light through it is from an automatic sensor light that goes off after 2 mins. If it really ends up bothering me I'll glue a sheet of 3mm onto the back of it.
Track is from Bunnings, comes as a kit, the only extra thing I needed was a track joiner to join two kits together.
Mmm those timbers will come up amazing mate! Looking forward to seeing the end result
Edit: for what it's worth, each door is costing me about $30 to make, If they warp or buckle I'll just make another, I have enough timber to make about 10 doors. I Know I should do it properly but time is a factor here and if I spend lo get doing it now, it will just drag out other jobs on my list to do

Was a good night to have a fire.....
Made in my still and 1 year in 25L 0ld American Oak Barrel
This batch of hand sanitiser smells and tastes like Whiskey.

You spelt it right! How good are those Glencairn glasses?! I have some home made port from red wine that was too far gone. Been "brewing" for the better part of 4 years mixed with Bourbon and chopped up mars bars. Yes! Oh the flavours!
Making my own Whiskey is on my agenda. Just gotta fit in with life at the moment.
I am suprised how good this has turned out after just a year, being a small barrel it has more contact to the oak per volume, also the barrel had stored port for about 10 years so that really adds to the flavour.
I love drinking out of the Glencairn glasses, really focuses the aroma.

Picked up today for what I consider an absolute steal.
Has a nice 15,000kms on it. I'm stoked with it. Needs some cleaning up but only cos it's been sitting not ridden for a few years. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...021/08/154.jpg

Yep she comes home Wednesday, but the old Covid bubble thing is going to make it difficult with visitations at the beginning - probably just my wife to get over there for now under the care and support umbrella - which she has been doing for the last 4 months anyway. Like most babies the one thing she has fully developed is the LUNGS!!!
I got offered a new job today, which I will accept.
I've spent the last 11 years working for an Industrial electrical and Automation contractor and I'm moving into a similar field but with more real instrumentation exposure, which I do have a interest in. My fairly vast heavy industry experience means I should be able fit in nicely at this new job
