Its relatively straight forward removing the headliner. Remove the pinch welds from the top of the door frames on the body and the headliner is only glued on. Easy to remove with a finger nail then rip it off. Holds up very well and is hard to tear. The rear sliding windows and front windscreen, the headliner is tucked into the rubber seals, but it's only a matter of gently pulling the liner and it will slide out in one piece. The headliner also goes down the A and B pillar, but again, only glued on and will come off easily. Will need to remove the seatbelt bolt to remove it in one piece. Then there are metal rods in the roof that hold it all up. Rotate the rod forward and pull them out of the holes. Repeat for all and the liner should be removed! May need to loosen the interior lights, but the headliner will slip over them.
Have you put the headlining back in or going for something different?
I'm looking to remove a few sections so I can run some wiring around up there. How easy do you expect it to be to put back?

Not planning on putting it back in. Going to make my own headliner and line it with the same black carpet that most of my interior is.
Edit: Drew, what kind of wiring are you putting up? It wouldn't be too difficult to remove small sections to run the wiring.
Power and coms to roof console and a few other odds and ends.....

Hey Cameron
I did make another thread somewhere about how to weld it and I did get some very good replies on how to do it. I can't remember the specifics of it, I'll see if I can find the thread...
Edit, found.
