I'm assuming you did the right thing and barbequed it. How did it taste? :)
Had 4 hrs straight sleep last, nodded off @ approx 3 am had to wake up at 7:30 to take my steroids (Dexmethsone 40mg _10 tablet each morning for 4 days_now 3rd day). Keeps you awake /disturbed sleep but pacing out all the time (full on go). Night before had was in bed 5 hrs but up walking around every 2hrs, and day before (Monday) went to Syd (500 ks rnd trip for dog health). Taken Melatonin doesn't help to sleep much and last night had some Valerian tea (home grown)with lemon and honey_worked a treat(slept thru 4 hrs). Will slow down after a few days coming off the drugs. Some side effect but OK.
Not for COVID, I have conic ITP (Thrombocytopenia), low platelet count in blood level 15 (should be 150-400) 2 yrs now, inhibits blood clotting causing free bleeding/easy bruising and as a consequence have a compromised immune system (just keep low and isolated):smiley_thumbs_up:. As said before don't mind that way of life anyway.
Will do blood test every 2nd day from next Tuesday for 8-10 day? and then weekly till end Nov to see if platelets rise and stay (target 100) and if not guess move on with next part of the journey (cruising). First hit of this drug did not provide desired response so will see.
Anyway had more than eggs on toast for breekie this morning and photo proved worthwhile, showed that I only took 9 so bumped up to 10 and all good for another day. Go with the flow I say, have slept on the table under the knife before. Just thought I would share and bit of a piss off I guess.
Anyway, need to slash some grass, clean up more of the garden beds and play with my CRD manual boost control arrangement (enjoy cutting pieces vac hose) and drop by the forum. Who needs to go out to find work of interest plenty here _ money appears in my bank account each week:coffeetime:
Happy i bought these articulated head spanners a while ago, saved me an hour or so today getting to some fittings on the truck. highly recommended.Attachment 82314
Ebay, bought them prior to doing the motor work, and never used them on that job, but have since a few times. I have not cranked into them, and to be honest they would probably take a beating a couple of times but not as a regular tool - there are a few of the more professional brands out there with the same operation, but the pivots are more robust - these are a good tool for the price and frequency of use is perhaps the best summary

Took the kids to the Moe botanic Gardens today with their bikes, the weather was spot on and the girls loved it.

I was travelling with an 85 YO in Europe a number of years ago on business and he had just recovered from his second hip replacement operation - I could not keep up with the bugger in the airport terminal, he was an absolute bulldozer of a man and he simply 'pointed and shot' where he needed to go. In the end he started getting pissy because we were slowing him down! Best of luck Darren, its sure to make a huge difference to your quality and quantity of life.

Today my boss told me that I will work remotely till the end of this year and most likely till the summer of 2021. That is great news for me!
Keep safe!
Starting the house extension this Thursday!!!! :Yahoo!: We were supposed to have started the week stage 4 lockdown came in, and should have been well on the tail end of the build by now. Better late than never.
Worked out why my mid 50's TEA20 Fergie tractor RHS rear whl drum bake was not working(only rear braking of course). Needs a new inner axle seal, bit of a wash down of drum and shoe lining with petrol and rag. Came up a treat, some adjustment and all sweet. Was impressed with condition of mech parts/shoe lining (good old asbestos I would guess) and also that the drum was secured to the axle flange face with 2x3/4" dia headed (counter sunk) metal threaded bolts (solid as).
Thought 17x8" steelies were heavy to fit up/stud allignment, try these fergies 1/3 full of water. To think I rotated these side to side for wider whl track some 15 yrs back (body is failing me a bit I thinks).
I'm glad it's not just me, I thought I was getting weak, trying put my 17x8 steelies on. I just about have to go into training for that these days.
Yep me too a bit_getting that way(just keep hanging in there). Easy to roll em off the roof rack, lifting up another story, maybe next time just spare cases if in need one day.
I have have been on steroids(really) Dexamethasone for last 4 days (40mg/day_10tabs) just finished 3rd course taken over last 2 months_ for low blood platelet count. Not a lot of success with that next part of journey, meet specialist Thurs for next stage_stuff me.
Had 4 hrs sleep last night wooopie, previous 4 might lucky to nodded off 3hrs / night. Head full on go pacing out all the time(work plus hard to sit still). Be buggered tomorrow but must go fishing Friday(need to be out there).
yeah, I got that low platelette crap as well, not as bad as you though, I think you mentioned it earlier. Doctor said I might have leaukemia, but I don't, just stuffed up platelettes.
Hope you feel better soon mate.
Yeah sure is, bloody awesome[emoji106] Will get up there tomorrow just a quick mountain top stopover with equally wicked view, not a bad lunch spot. .

After 9 months of only getting 2 to 2.5 days of works a week, as of Friday, I'll be back on 5 days a week. So will hopefully finally be able to start working on the GQ, get it back on the road properly, then sell it.
What's next clunk?
