There is a bull bar on ebay that has been in a head on accident.
This bar was on my GQ and was replaced by the insurance company and was to be destroyed.
It is not a ARB bar and steps as advertised and appears some dodgy dealing has gone on from the local ARB dealer.

I would keep away from the bar unless it has been engineered to be ok. Which I couldn't get done thats why it was replaced.
Would hate to see a Patrol with a family hanging of a winch cable when the bar comes apart.

Would love to hear what sort of stuff they pick on, or anything to watch out for. I know I got a ripped drivers seat but I just put some seat covers on... hope it will passs......next thing is work out what to do with this 4 inch suspension lift.....it has already come with it installed......It would suck if i had to take it out! thinking of may be getting it engineered! :(

I'm searching for a 1987+ GQ Nissan Patrol, manual with an RB30 engine.
The engine can be in any condition, but I'm chasing a body with absolutely minimal rust. Paintwork not a huge factor, but preferably in okay condition.

The factory fans sit on the passenger side only, and I have an auto cooler on the other side so this is fine. Am removing the front mount W2A and putting it up on the bonnet to make space?

In case you did not know, there are differences across all of the series for rear bumpers, so you will need a full backing frame and bolts.

the easiest way is prob just go to a wrecker and pick one up even if you get the whole handle

Adapting the filler could be a problem, if you are looking to use it as the sole petrol tank, but I can imagine the standard plumbing si2es would cope with a sub tank pump filling it
hey guys i have a spare gu rd28 engine sitting in my shed thati got spare when purchasing my patrol, it has the head off the block as head was chaged around as i was told, was told by previos owner that it had around 250xxxkms on it, all that is needed is new head gasket and head bolted back up, willing to swap for a set of 35' muddies on sunraysias with reasionable tread or open to offers as is a waste just sitting in my shed! located in VIC 3840. cheers scott

X2 mate, Factory springs are fairly average and your sig line says you have BW drawers and a 60lt fridge, do yourself and your car a favour and grab some HD springs, you can get them in Standard height if you want to stay there but there is a significant difference between factory and aftermarket mate and worth every cent.Quote:
