Went camping at Marysville caravan park on the weekend.
One other family camping near us.
Stupidly left my axe there and the park owners have been ringing that family all day and they are not answering their phone.
Grrrr!!!

Got a result with this. Got my money back. But geez they make it hard. Australian governments for years now have been making tax laws based on what they can get away with. Not what is fair. Pricks.
Walked into the Virgin/Jetsar terminal in Sydney and the sliding door half opened then the terminal went quiet - total shutdown of everything - shot my plan to get home early in the ass again - I am jinxed. Power back on about 1 hr later, so the ground staff did an amazing job in the end. Qantas lost my bags on Monday, Virgin have achieved a 100% score on changing every flight I manage to book. total consistency is perhaps the only positive I can put on it.
Thats Shitstar for you.
I will never fly with them again, or Qantas if I can help it. I booked and paid tix to Darwin a few years back with Qantas. Upon arrival and checking in I was informed that I am being loaded onto a Shitstar plane. WTF! I get on the plane, we take off, the steward comes out asking if people want any beverages, I said I just have a bottle of water, "that will be $xxx sir". Im like huh! I paid for a Qantas flight and I get a free bottle of water with them I said. Not with us you don't was the response. I wrote an official complaint to Qantas expressing my disgust. No response from them to no surprise.
Last Flight I flew with Rex. Outstanding service by them.
Yeah, well I have to fly to site early to resolve a bore issue the site maintenance team have pfaffed around with for 4 years, and must be there tomorrow, so checked flights and Virgin/Qantas are 3 times the direct flight cost today than Shitstar, so basically forced out of common sense to fly with them. I dont care about the catering on a 3 hrs flight, I can survive, however basically hate flying with them, the attendants have a level of arrogance beyond the norm i have found. I expect nothing so will be surprised if anything positive happens - just get me to Townsville tonight as my contracted ticket purchase states - then dont lose my luggage or expect me to travel 1500klm to get it.

Not angry because I’m on the clock, but frustrated.
We need to travel from one site to another 2 hours drive away here in the Pilbara. But driving is not allowed for risk reasons. So fly back to Perth then fly back to the Pilbara direct to other site. Easy day I suppose but really, wtf….
Driving not allowed for what reason? A tornado or something?
I believe in not being racist. I hate foreigners and everybody else, this forum excepted.
‘Not’ angry at all, just believe safety wise, tis quite relevant for ‘anyone’ travelling on Australian legal allowed transport routes.
Road trains & dust/marbles flung definitely do require a wide pull over/off distance.
Please DO also be warned of Livestock feed carting, especially in times of unfortunate despair ( floods/droughts)[emoji22]
I believe/experienced ‘special circumstance legal clearances’ of 5x5 round bales truck deck packed to over 3.0m wide create by far the greatest wind turbulence personally ever experienced in merely a single cab GQ steel tray ute circa 2.7T GVM [emoji51]

The price of beer... More specifically, ginger beer. I'm on holidays in the gold coast, and went to the local bottle o for a 10 pack of ginger beers. Usually around $35-$40. I believe there has been a tax hike in the last few days? Soooo there were 3 different 10 packs, all were priced between $57&$59. Noticed Bundy and cols next to it was $49 for the same box size. Since when we RTDs(ready to drink) cheaper than anything else! Ended up buying a case of Canadian club and dry for $94, and the cheapest ginger beer was around $110 absolutely ridiculous!
