Almost couldn't spot the dog under all those blankets
@PeeBee aussie bulldogs are a great looking dog.
probably the best dog Ive had with a good temperment was
Jack my 50kg Doberman, you could take her to a nursing
home and feel safe, loved a pat, scratch.
Any of the Bull Arabs also make great couch potatoes.
Not a fan of the small yappy units, but did have Porky a jack Russell for 18yrs
I guess the temperament of a dog is in a lot of ways reflected by the way they are brought up, and I always found the dobermans to be somewhat 'twitchy' and reactive. Ultra protective and loving to their owners but not so predictable with others. I guess this could be said with any breed. Saying that my daughter and son-in-law have a doberman/great dane cross and he is big, jet black and playful, totally approachable and gentle with everyone. Trouble with couch potatoes is that they end up becoming bed potatoes also and I will end up on the couch instead!
We picked up a 8 week old lab"trixie" for the family last weekend - I swear this puppy stage is like having a baby again!!
