Yeah I agree with you mate, coppers get to know your car. But in the same token no having mudflaps on the rear has the danger of throwing loose stones into other peoples windscreens. Having a cracked windscreen because some idiot thinks its okay to not have them. not really fair.

Very simple and common mod, just a bit of led strip on the barn doors.

Hey Winnie
Did you wire them to the door switch. Or to a seperate switch.
There's a switch on either side so I can have either door light on and they are wired to a fuse panel on the back of the drawers which goes to the aux battery.
Finally fitted the front and rear Harris hardcase, fitted up easily.
Rummaged around inside the gq trying to find the rattles and stumbled across a factory subwoofer box under the drivers seat and another factory amplifier inderneath the passengers seat.
Pulled the drivers side woofer out and dismantled it...speaker was shagged and disintegrated in my hands but had a spare 4 inch speaker with same impedance as the factory one. Removed the old speaker and reinstalled the other one and cleaned the circuit board with board solvent. What a kick arse sound I have now and then continued to remove all the other factory speakers to replace them with 300w pioneer six inch items.
All the rattles gone now and have a fantastic sound coming from the stereo...no more rattles and one very happy camper! Found two concealed tweeters at the base of the windshield struts and figured it was an aftermarket fit but pulled them off to clean and test and are factory nissan items! The things you find when you root about...
Has anyone else found these items under the seats?
I had a factory amp under my seat........ it is asking for trouble under there with the amount of times my car has gone swimming!!!
Ha indeed...I imagine the bathtub shape of the enclosure would ensure a good drenching! Mine worked but the only thing left of the woofer and all the factory speakers was the centre bit...prompted me to vacuum the inner doors while I had them apart and clean out all the old speaker diaphragm bits. The woofer was only a 40 watt item in 4 inch so I removed it and replaced it with a 200w 4ohm item...makes my clacker clench now with the fully sik bass!!
