Hey Victor, chase up some wreckers on the Internet in New Zealand. There should be a few around with 4.6s. You probably know but for your reference they came out in a 2.8 deisel.

hi, after a rear tailshaft to suit short wheel base gq, must be good cond, mine has recently started to thrash out the spline in the telescopic part of the shaft.

i am getting a rwc on a GQ patrol and will be needing some parts before i am ready. I don't have heaps of cash left but if you are in Melbourne and have a part make me an offer.
I need:
- Steering wheel (can be aftermarket, i have a boss kit but needs padding in the middle to be roadworthy apparently)
- Drivers seat
- Read mud guards
- Front wheel trims
I would like:
- A steel winch bar - pref the tube style.
- 33" mud tyres
- 2" lift kit

just converted back to petrol, they drilled holes in the intake hoses for the gas ring. need new inducion hoses.

If your still after a gearbox for GU 2.8 I have one with 60,000 klm since reconditioning, make an offer. Brisbane area.
Just gettign the rwc at the garage atm. Got postponed anyhow as decided to take it to a different garage instead. ;)
I don't need a seat for rwc (hopefully) as mine is ADR approved, and the steering wheel i was told wont be roadworthy cause it didn't have padding, but then i read that only applies to vechials that are made after 1995 and conform to a different standard. will have to work out the guards and flaps though :)
I will be doing my 2008 GU in a week or two, you can have the springs and shocks, you'll just have to dive down to the NSW/QLD to pick em up if your interested

There are a few that come up on Ebay, I would be trying to find a good body on there or even Gumtree, trading post, etc...
