@ OD not being familiar with anything to do with Archery,
I take it this Quiver is just slung over your shoulder,
and the small pocket is for,,,,,,,,,,? chalk, tips,,,
this will go well with the other skinners, I'll get a mate to make a display case

Yup, slung over the shoulder for the arrows. The pocket csn be used for anything really.
That was the seller who sent me the dodgy knife, got a reply from this morning and they are sending me a new knife and sheath

Interesting helmet. Lancy has been good to me with gear as well, sourced a black molle belt for us.
Just realised why the quiver wasn't sitting properly on my back, I made it for a left handed shooter...doh!!!

Seller is sending me a whole new knife and sheath to replace the damaged 1. May be able to fix the old 1.
My knives I use for hunting. Blue handle is an f dick skinner black handle is a buck that I use for stabbing and boning and the timber handle is brand new got it today for $50 it's a Winchester skinner with gut hook.
very noice choice, I love the buck 119brs.
Plus those Winchesters have a bit of weight about them
and f dick have a great reputation

Here is a bit of a left field question for you all have any of you tried taxidermy? once I get my bow sighted again I want to take down a pig and have a crack at it but there’s not a great deal on line about it.

Best left to the pros with taxidermy maybe try tanning a few skins first and see how you go. You need heaps of things for taxidermy wire moulds glass eyes sewing skills tanning skills etc.
Looking forward to trying the new blade. The buck is awesome and the f dick is ok needs a pro to sharpen it as it's a really hard blade and I don't have the right stones to work it
I have my eye on the Winchester set, with you using / liking it makes it easier for my to decide to buy it.

Another screw together flint striker silver not black just arrived still to start a fire yet but will up fishing soon enough now

Same flint set as mine. Soak some cotton wool in petroleum jelly and / or crush a fire lighter up when using the flint, makes it a lot easier to light.
Can also use a pencil sharpener on sticks to make tinder
Also have a 5 blade and 4 blade trappers coming ad well

@ OD you may be disappointed like me with the X7 its very light , I think the one with the saw up the handle would be better value.
