What made me angry today? Getting the EGT and Boost gauges and realising the nut welded into the dump pipe was 1/4, not 1/ so the probe doesn't fit... AND realising I don't have the barb fitting for the boost line to the sender... AND realising the wiring is too short and I can't get more as the MRS took the other car... AND the Patrol is outside as the bikes in the shed in pieces and its starting to rain and I need to put the wiring back together to put the windows up...

Yep, it ended up being a tarp job, with me putting it all back together by torchlight awaiting a trip tomorrow for parts. Poor neighbours must think I swear like this all the time...
Yeah nearly all EGT probes use 1/8. You can get the 1/4-1/8 adaptors form your local or nearest fitting supplier. Same goes for the boost sensor.Quote:

Ran out to Pirtek and got the adapter, made me happy! Bring on tomorrow! I have the MAF sensor adapter coming for the boost sensor (wow pricey!). But, my welder broke and my need to buy more tools is wholly over-ridden by the over-pregnant wife at the moment!
