I have an old chescold 3 way and it leaked gas out of the hose connection and that caught fire off the pilot light. The fridge was outside the door of the tent and by luck the jetstream headed away from the tent. Turned out to be worn threads on the hose , unit was sent back and repaired under warranty, but have never used it again on gas, just don't trust it.
I was so lucky the stream went up, any other direction and something would have caught fire. I slept through it, was luck wife woke up needing to go to toilet.
Not angry, but what the hell are these things for??
People keep sending them to me.

Oh of course, ah and that flat bit would be for lifting up 'ring pulls'.
I received a wiring diagram today that made no sense and actually would not work. I sketched out what i thought was the solution, and bingo, all good. i then rang the supplier and tried to explain to him that his supplied diagram required modification but he wasn't interested. I then asked if he has his circuit installed, and he replied he has tested '1000's' of these devices using his test bed and not a problem, so I asked if he could have a quick look at the wiring for the relay and confirm it is as per the supplied drawing. He got all pissy but went away and returned about 5 minutes later to tell me the test unit was wired differently to the drawing. i explained how it should be wired and funny enough, thats just how it IS wired. To that he started off on a rant about 'the chinese and the local sparky who wired it and updated the drawing - and funny enough, not even a thank you for sorting it out and letting me know - maybe he was having a bad day, but a bit of gratitude would not go astray - his voiced trailed off as he was wingeing about having to change his documentation etc - UNBELIEVE IT! It was a neg earth switching circuit, so a little different but not greatly.
Send one to me if you have a spare you don't need. I'll pay the postage. Tried to buy a bottle opener in Mareeba a couple of weeks ago. Amazingly none of the bottle shops had one & ended up buying a thingo from Coles ,cos it was the only one I could find. Takes 2 or 3 attempts on every bottle & I hate it. I've got one like yours at home which Harrops gave me when I got the e-locker fitted, but it's not much good to me down there.

My over powering fear of heights! This is as far as I got with the cherry picker today.

You can kinda see how far up o got as I had to cut into the ivy and work my way up. That’s about 12 metres up and I just couldn’t concentrate up there. I felt real uneasy.
I did manage to get the ivy covered tree next to it down though. But this one I have to extent the boom out further and higher and yeah nup! I had to stop.
Plus there was a possum up there staring at me the entire time.
I’ll have another crack tomorrow as I need to get this tree down and it can’t just be dropped because there is a house right next to it and it’s leaning toward it.

My damn memory failed to remind me that I'm young no longer.
Spent all Sunday trying to re-enter the human race after Saturday night seeming to be like a good time drink beer and listen to music after helping my son & girlfriend move into their new rental.
I'd forgotten how sick you can make yourself feel.
Those cherry pickers are nasty things, especially those older highly used rental ones. With the wrong control inputs you can almost invert that tiny platform you are standing in, and the control cables often break when you are all the way up, leaving you stuck 15 metres in the air. :) :) :)
I’m with this bloke 👆🏻
Just realised how dumb we're supposed to be. Sitting here watching Bathurst replays and Super Cheap Auto is the major sponsor. The Super Cheap Auto Bathurst 1000! And they sell the cheapest auto accessories?? Fk me how much markup is going on here? We're getting torn new ones every time we set foot in an auto store.
not angry, just concerned. son's gone for his 2nd COVID test, he's a bit crooker than last time, hope he's still OK.
wife went in for her first, the other day, but we're not too worried, she's much better than when she had the test done.
again, not angry, but is just me or is everyone noticing that things online are pretty bloody quiet.
Not just today, the last month or so.... Dealing with 2 overseas call centers, I'm not racist but fark they are a bunch of morons and seem 2 manage 2 balls everything up very easily. No wonder Australia is turning 2 the shit house.

I reckon we keep a pretty tight rein in it mate, the occasional one get a through for a short time like that sneaky one on your profile, we can't see that unless you point it out. It is invisible. Trust me though you only see 5% of what I see in spam. I have killed no less than 10 TODAY. I cull at least 2 or 3 every time I log on. First task is kill spam then look at forum. A lot can't be seen on Tappa either, I only use full site and cull heaps mate. Just report it and move on, I'll sweep it up.no probs. Nature of the beast unfortunately. Spiders everywhere. Most of it is just Bots.
Sometimes there are 20!!!! In one go!
Took my trailer to work to load up stuff for a customer. There is massive council works going on opposite us and they have tradies filling the streets with their cars. So I park in the loading zone, to load up the trailer. Behind two tradies utes also parked in the loading zone. I cop a $165 fine. I write them a letter explaining the situation, "their" works are causing this in the end. My letter is rejected. They also send me the rules and regs on who can an can' park in the zone, one I noticed of who can, is cars with trailers! Go figure! WTF?!
Not so much angry as these things happen lol but kinda expensive day. . Trying to do some clean up at the side of our yard thought it a great idea to squeeze our little Vermeer skid steer along the bottom of the embankment till poped off a track and ended up hard against the wobbly old fence dammit . . . Associated cranes made light work of it tho. . .

geez, this bloody covid thing. see what it's done in Vic. Let's see how the USA cope after their 4th of July weekend, bloody hell it could turn out to be a disaster.
Packed the GQ ready for camping tomorrow.
Just went for a drive to pick the kids up and experienced the most intense death wobbles I have ever felt damn it!
Borderline pulling over and getting it towed...lol
Tie rod rubbers look shagged I think, my kids thought it was a crazy roller coaster ride on the way home lol
Bloody superior tie rod as well unfortunately!
