I hit the anchors quite heavily at about the 9sec mark in the video, just as he fishtails towards the car in the left lane. I couldn't have pulled up in any shorter distance, so the gap ahead is what saved me.
This is with an unloaded car, not towing, no spare wheel on the rear, 1/8th fuel in the main tank and 1/4 in the sub tank 2 adults and two kids under 7.
I'll be looking at new rotors and pads, potentially even better calipers in the future too.
Tell me about it got a hit in the rear this morning on the ring road. Guy admit that he was looking at the GPS to find a quicker way to work. A couple of lucky ones, wasn't a big hit, had the touge on so no damage to me (got his details and will have a look underneath tonight) and wasn't driving the Clubsport. Had only parked it up on Tuesday night.

hahaha, funny.
As Australian consumers continue to panic-buy toilet paper in a misguided response to the spread of coronavirus, one semi-trailer full of toilet paper has burst into flames on a major Brisbane bridge.

Due to my wife’s condition, Specialist has recommended we cancel our trip to Sunshine Coast booked for next week and paid for months ago. No refund on flights or accommodation as it was a ‘special’ deal.
We’ve got Travel Insurance and pandemics are excluded in our policy (and almost every other travel insurance).
Now don’t start me on my superannuation disaster.
Nah, checked with family but no takers. Only option they gave me was reschedule the outgoing flights for $110, no reschedule on the accommodation or return flights. Just cut my losses and cancelled, bigger things to worry about at the moment.
I’ll try the travel insurance again next week but already know the answer.
That sucks Jack.
I have flights and accommodation booked for Singapore in August, hoping things will be sorted by then as both non refundable and travel insurance doesn’t cover it.
I feel your pain.
Pandemic is an 'Act of God'
What a cop out.
PM says don't travel but airlines say travel or lose...
Insurance says not our problem.
We are victims as well.
Health insurance said if we travel against advice they won't cover us.
Good luck Tony, should have settled down by then I hope.
Quick morning bread run...
Local bakery running on 1/4 capacity. Not enough flour supply...
Walk into coles for some eggs. Scenes come to mind from some recent zombie apocalypse movies.
Cleaning aisle, two chinese families scratching each others faces off over a box of OMO. Not far from there queue to Aldi opening at 8.30 extended out of the shopping complex onto the car park.
Honestly wish I'd stayed home. We're in for some dark times ahead folks.
Didn't get to see a Grand Prix but still managed to pick up a cold or flu.
Rang doctors and they said they are not seeing people with flu like symptoms and have to visit clinic at hospital.
The clinic apparently are only seeing people who have been overseas or have had contact with Covid 19 infected person.
Email from work saying anybody with cold or flu symptoms need doctors clearance before coming to work.
Guess I am working from home.
I am feeling like crap, running a temp and have been a line outside for over an hour to be tested. Just want to go to bed.
Waited 3 hours to get a certificate that allows me to see my normal GP
On hold to virgin airlines, my flights to tsv have been delayed and wont meet the special shuttle from Townsville to the mine, like 12 hrs notice, might be home all weekend now but have a crew of 40 starting on site Friday, frustrating to say the least.
Rebooked Melb, bris, Mt Isa, either 5 hr wait for mine shuttle, book a car, or get someone to drive out and get me. have to wait and see if the shuttle from Mt isa is full or not - going to be a long day.
