thats not what has made me angry tho, what has is i spoke to an old friend of mine today and found out he has recently bumped into my grandfather and spoken to him. my pop is 76 years old, he still operates a law and accounting business and is in no way a soft/weak individual. earlier this year he suffered a stroke and had a heard operation to clear out some blocked arteries. his health has been poor lately to say the least but because of the stress of recent events it lead him to say this to my old friend:
friend: "hi bill, your looking well since your heart operation, looks like youve recovered well"
pop: "yeah i guess, but i wish the surgeon had let me go... it would have solved all my problems"
it broke my heart to hear that.

Found out today there might be some proposed work changes happening. Depending on how and if it pans out, I might need a ute for work in the future.
I don't like this, since I just sold my D22 which I built into a rather capable touring 4x4, to upgrade to a proper 4x4 (patrol). D22 was my everyday driver as well as a semi-work ute.
And now it'll be interesting to see what happens. Work has also cut ties with toyota and now has a contract with nissan , meaning we get a rather hefty discount from nissan as employees on D22 and the D40. I can't afford to keep the trol and a car vehicle.
Watch this space.
That's a bit mean of them.. I wonder how many blokes it will affect? Is there some other way around it? If there are few in your position maybe you can offer say rdo's to keep fleet uses??? Lots involved in maintaining a work vehicle, but I guess Its a tax write off for you then..Quote:

The crappy old works Nokia E52 finally gave up the ghost and carked it, got in touch with the boss, tells me theyll send a used Iphone 4............. oh hoorah I thought, I sooooooooooo love crapple.
