A bloke I work with is just the same. We order stuff all day for work and rarely have issues with couriers but as soon as he orders something for himself it is a near guarantee it will get lost.

Spent $150 on parts for a robotic pool cleaner. One week later the pump crapped itself. Got quoted $1899 for a new cleaner..
The only good thing is that they have a 20% store wide discount tomorrow.
We had tennets in here for 2 years before we moved in and in that time they never said that there was a problem with anything. We had to change the back colourbond fence, security camera hard drive, fix a green pool, outdoor blinds have come apart at the zippers still to do, pump for solar and maybe a new solar controller. Don't mind doing all of this while it was a rental, but doing it now there's nothing to claim.

My morning toast will be late cause the PV solar sys will not wake an hour earlier...
Followed up with TOLL again as heard nothing, yeah, its being checked, its a public holiday in WA on Monday so you might get a call sometime Tuesday if they can find it. What a refreshing situation, I feel so blessed and tranquil. Have a great day TOLL people,
I think it's time you give up your cat kicking hobby Phil.

Feels a bit like that Chris, weighed down with Bronchitis as well so ability to 'feel the love' is minimal. BD were only given 2.5 weeks to deliver this stuff, so now with luck I will get it 10 minutes before I head back to site. Pretty pissed off to say the least.
Not only is the gear to replace faulty stuff, with custom pulley and pump, but the replacement clutch is there as well. I am sure it will turn up, but just not in time for me to get the barge back on the road. The good bit of news however is my neighbour the panelbeater is doing a perfecto job on the new bonnet, so it is looking close to a factory look
We ran out of blue :00’s dammit :-)

not today but yesterday
done for 96 in an 80 zone, double demerit weekend, first speeding fine since my only speeding fine at 17 years old in my old V8 :(
On the plus side, Lucky I didn't get breath tested cause I just finished a bottle of bourbon and had 20 cones and dropped 20 trips 2 hrs before driving, but lucky didn't get tested for any of that :)
The poor church is under attack from termites!!!
Luckily caught the little buggers early enough, they ate through the skin of one of the posts and up through the gable but luckily caught them now and sorted it out!!!

Just in the nick of time old mate, well done!
I always thought that damage came from Plassy grinding poles and swinging from your rafters though?

Little buggers they are pretty rife in our dry old hills. . Looks like the nick of time, bit more rustic character now, pay good money 4 that . . .

Back to cold Melbourne and reality. Ugh! Had a fecking great time in the NT though!
Also just got a call from the draftsman. The council won't approve us for the retaining wall we want to put up as its covering the easement. We need to set it back off the boundary by 2 metres, which makes it pretty much no point in doing the wall now. Not sure what to do here now. Looks like we have to think of a different way.
Bugger mate that sux. She's pretty cold here today has been pretty nice but. .

bloody death wobbles, shake shake shake, rattle rattle, whole bloddy car's vibrating.
Going through the same motions now mate. Ticking things off the list slowly.
I replaced my diff end panhard bush few weeks ago. It helped a bit , but still a little wobble there.

Only guaranteed fix for Death Wobbles that I know is buy a Y62 :049:
Bloody Vic Roads. They must reckon the roads aren't crap enough around here. Now they're putting those bloody annoying rumble strips in the centre of the road. So now when you sit to the right in the lane to stay out of the bumps, valleys and gorges on the left side, you now ride over those bloody strips. So now you have to sit even further to the right which now has you over the middle of the road.
It's absolute bloody carp, bloody decisions made in the city.
maybe add Check kingpins are shimmed to within specs to hodges list .
This is a 2 in 1....
What made me happy today.... i got my car back from the dyno in one piece and my engine is still alive...
What has made me angry today?
I didn't make the 700rwhp target and am currently stuck at 450rwhp because it suffered from fuel pressure issues. The module in the fuel tank that holds the pump etc needs to be taken out and checked for an internal leak....
I know i shouldn't be angry at 450rwhp but when youre investing time amd money to make 700rwhp and you start getting things like this jump in your path it starts to become annoying and dyno time is a costly experience....
Back to the drawing board
Woosahhhh now wheres my beer!?!?
Fkn hell ... You would not read about this.
Bloke reverses into our second car at lights. Refuses liability , refuses handing over any info. Wive calls 000 instantly in front of him and his story changes . Has no license on him but gets photos of it SMSed on the spot which is relayed to our phone.
Name on his license does not reflect his ethnicity in no shape , form or colour. Ok, insurance and cops notified, etc ... Pissing down so it's hard to tell if any minor damage .
Not even an hour later , I'm in the Patrol and a guy jumps out of the car in front of me , grabs a jacket through rear door while his car rolls straight onto my bull bar ... No hand brake.
Starts waving his hands in the air at me. Again , this guys attitude changes when I invite him to play him dash cam footage.
All in the space of an hour ... I'm staying off the roads for the rest of the day lol.
Getting a dash cam first thing tomorrow morning for her car.
Jesus mate. I think its time you moved out of that area.
I was driving down Dalton Rd this morning and yeah, different breed there. I drove beside two cars on Datlon Rd, both of which had no plates, both of which had no working wipers, pissing down with rain and they couldn't see shite!
So glad I moved.
Yeah I was coming back from my sisters turning right into the ring rd off Sydney Rd other day. Looked left there was a twitchy young dude on a dirt bike giving the throttle good squirts. . Didn't think too much of it but then he took off like a bat out of hell assumed the lights must have turned green but nup just gauntlet across the red no rego at all yeah different world out there lol. .

Yeah mines the same. It doesn't always do it. But I have a theory that I'm testing... I've noticed if I drive on perfectly flat road ( I know it's a joke, we're in Victoria ), it tends to be OK. But as soon as I hit a bit of a bump or a dip in the road at around 85-90km/h, it sends the wobbles into motion and won't f*** off until i get out of that speed range. And from there it's rinse and repeat. At least I think that's whats happening so far.
