I got the bloody 80kph death wobbles in mine for the first time in four years. I really hope the wheels just need balancing as its really annoying and shakes quite violently. Panhard bushes are good, I know that, and the wheel bearings I have checked. Radius arm bushes are maybe 18months old....
Couple of weeks ago I had movement felt coming back thru steering whl @ 80kph and took the easy path first and had full whl balance now fine. From a glance every thing else seemed OK_all good.
How violent can the all quoted "death wobbles" be noticed within reason (eg: bonnet/front panels start to gitter)?
I think usually the driver should manage the wobble by increasing or reducing speed to minimise the effect.
In me shit box GQ on the way from VHC I once tried to see what would happen if I kept the shakes going. Well besides all my insides nearly coming out my rear, I though all the panels and windows would give way...it was farked...bad, really bad

'Death Wobbles' are an Harmonic Effect so if the outside factors remain constant they just get worse and worse
If left unchecked IE you don't speed up or slow down to change the harmonics then they can be violent enough to shake the entire car quite severely, certainly enough to scare your pucker valve into slamming shut.
I had a case of death wobbles on my Tray Back that were significantly more violent than the gnarliest corro's I have ever driven on.
The vehicle was frightening at anything like a constant speed between 75 to 85 KPH but happy to sit below or above that speed
Yeah I am putting it down to crap quality rubber. All 4 are compressed and collapsed. The arms where in the right way and the thing was rear steering it's head off.
The bushes where after market off eBay for $50 a set of 8. Damn it. Pushed out the uppers at the same time which had 320k factory bushes in. I have grabbed a set of OEM bushes from Roadrunner for $190 which where supposed to be here Friday but will arrive monday so will replace them all again. The original factory arms are back in it for a week of freeway.
Those bushes had commuted down the freeway for 8 weeks!!!! No off-road at all. The only thing they copped was a heavy right foot by Naomi.
Here ia the eBay link

And here is the screen shots. I have sent my pics to the seller but don't expect a reply as I have already left positive feedback...

@Maxhead @the evil twin
Reminds me of my first car GMH_FC '59 stat wagon, trying out my first eng swap "red motor 179" and tail shaft was out of balance but vibration smoothed at out speed haha.
Comes down to form fit and function.
Nah I tighten the at ride weight. The left side had fully collapsed and that made the rear diff out of alignment. It would drive ok but had a really twitchy ass. Was thinking it might have been my front end actually as I didn't expect those bushes to be wrecked. Like my caster mysteriously went to shit.
Put the factory arms back in ( so nearly dumped them a heap of times!!) And it's much better.
Well i sent this seller a message and to their credit the replied on first business day. They advised that they have sold over 300 sets and received 5 complaints about the quality (1.5%). They immediately offered me a full refund which i accepted and they deposited it back into my Paypal today. Second Business day.
Well after a lot of piss farting around I finally found out that the oil feed line to my turbo in my block is 1/8 bspt.
Realising that how much stuff the thieves who broke into my garage actually took!
Now I've got to start over again on building my tool collection.
Selectively buy and love whole heartedly a dog mate!
The littler and yappier the betterer, no need for a bull, just tune into their tones and a ballpeen in your jocks should scare any mongrel off :-)

I would love a dog, but unfortunately, I work long shifts and I feel bad leaving it alone for that long (Around 16hrs a day I'm out of the house)
If it wasn't for my shifts I would have a few already!
That’s a fair call Jim mate, good bloke [emoji106][emoji106]

Those extinction rebellion protesters get under my skin.🤬🤬🤬🤬 Why can't they see that holding up traffic is only making more emissions from all the cars sitting there running. 😡
And, trying to force your ideologies onto every1 else is not the way to make people aware!! Get a job and stop making the general publics lives difficult! Your only making them hate you, and your cause more!
Rant over
Found coolant leaking behind the Falcon's new engine, two weeks after getting a mechanic to fit it. I asked him to fit new welsh plugs too!! Guessing that didn't happen.
Some drongo's vandalised the 'Dog sitting on the Tucker Box' at Gundagai - simply just wrong, and pointless.
I don't get people, why would you do something so senseless?
Sic @LUCAS onto them Mutts, gettum sorted nutter :-)

Dealing with Toll as my couriers.
My item was sent from Melbourne to Sydney in one day, but its been at least three days to get the 20km to my house. Moreover, they're unable to provide us with an estimate of what day it will get here.
I swear, whenever I deal with a delivery company that's not Australia Post I have constant issues, instead of AP where issues are relatively low.
Nope, I don't think so, closer to the hospital.
I wouldn't mind so much, but they've changed the delivery date on use multiple times now.
I'm getting it delivered to my parents in the Mountains though as couriers tend to struggle with my place.
Only my nuffy self to blame!
Bought us an Optima Blue some 18months ago for the old 1970’s Jayco family comfort needs with extra auxiliary threads to suit a quick rushed hack departure.
Haven’t used the old pop top in at least 6 months now and found last trip forgot to disconnect for parasitic load storage :-(

Strike me lucky. Rugged up yesterday, psyched myself up and prepared to get cold to go out and wash the Patrol.
That idea lasted 45 seconds, it was OK on the side sheltered from the wind, but the other side, I may as well have been running around naked at the South Pole, fiercely cold.
