Lol get a couple of mates a few beers n its done, then you will have the boring wiring to do when you do your wheel bearings on the weekend.

Nah just gonna do the lot on the weekend when my mechanic mate is over to help with the swivel hubs.
Winch bar is off and winch is bolted to it, realised that I have nowhere to mount the control box and it didn't come with a bracket to mount it to the actual winch. Got a mate with the same winch who didn't use his bracket and he is on his way here.
Make sure you wash the rope with clean water after use in mud mate.Also take care with it on rocks it can cut through the rope.
Yeah that's the main downside to having rope but for all the benefits seemed worth it to me. I'll just soak it in a bucket overnight after I've got it muddy.
Woooow it's on! Had to drill some holes in the bar to mount the control box which was a bit scary lol but all ended well. Just curious does anybody know how to connect the hook onto the thimble? Tried just about everything.
